In 2021, we had our first virtual Science Rendezvous event. Although we weren’t able to see everyone in person, we had lots of fun participating in online STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) activities. Some of these activities included an interactive GatherTown event, live broadcasts from the Thames Region Ecological Association and The Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory, learning about the science behind oobleck, making delicious creations as a food scientist, building a Mars helicopter, and so much more! Attendees also had the chance to compete in the Science Chase and win prizes.
